medneo is an innovative medical imaging company with a unique, people-first culture.

We operate a fleet of cardiac-optimised, state-of-the-art mobile MRI and CT scanners. Our highly experienced Radiographers are all employed by us and have advanced training to deliver contrast imaging – this sets us apart as a mobile scanning service.

Our teams are expert and adaptable, we deliver complex scans alongside the routine, taking on the day-to-day challenges of medical imaging and responding to changing clinical needs in a complete, turnkey solution.

medneo is accredited to the NHS supply chain, and we also support private customers. We work closely with each customer to develop a tailored solution.

High-specification MRI scanners

Siemens Aera 48-channel MRI scanners for fast scans and exceptional clarity across a 100% case mix. Patient-friendly designs include wide-bore, short scanner.

Cardiac-optimised CT scanners

Canon Aquilion ONE PRISM Edition CT scanners for strong diagnostic confidence, full range of scans and cardiac optimised for high patient throughput. Low-dose options provide improved tolerability and comfort for patients.

Coming soon! In June 2025, we will also have Canon Serve Aquilion Serve SP 160 CT scanners, which are cardiac optimised scanners available in expandable relocatable format.

Contrast injection

Advanced contrast injection systems with on-board pump injectors on MRI and CT.  Up to 60% of medneo scanning days are contrast enhanced, so we deliver a full case mix including complex cardiac and urgent oncology patients.

Innovative trailer design

Trailers have two full-size changing rooms, space for extra coils and on-board resuscitation equipment. This means more patients can be entrusted to medneo and improves patient throughput across a full case mix.

Mood lighting, calming imagery and rigorous cleanliness enhance patient experience.

Full integration

Efficient and secure integration with local NHS systems ensures fast reporting and urgent findings for accelerated onward management.

Effective communication and local team working means that medneo mobile imaging provides a seamless, turnkey solution from day one.

An expert team

It is the medneo people that make the difference. Radiographers must have at least eight years’ experience and are required to undergo further training in contrast imaging, intravenous cannulation and Immediate Life Support (ILS).

Commitment is high and our reliability is 99.9%. It’s extremely rare that we are unable to cover a shift.

Outstanding performance

We’re committed to the success of our partnerships with the Trusts we work with and provide the highest standard of quality, efficiency and patient care.

Uptime

24-hour maintenance support, forward management of issues and a completely dedicated workforce means that we keep our mobile units fully operational. Downtime is the exception – even on a seven-day week service.

Patient satisfaction

The ability to undertake a mix of routine and complex scans, without rescheduling, means increased throughput and reduced waiting lists. Combined with the clinical care provided by expert medneo Radiographers, this leads to overall exemplary patient experience.

Extra patients per day

With two full-size changing rooms in each trailer, and state-of-the-art scanners it’s possible to comfortably scan more patients each day, without compromising quality.

of scanners can deliver contrast

Both our MRI and CT scanners all have on-board pump injectors. The CT injectors are ‘day-set’ injectors and deliver daily cost efficiencies to our customers. We also use individualised dosing which provides optimal scan quality with reduced doses to patients.
