medneo’s UK management team are experienced healthcare leaders with a passion for delivering patient and customer-centric imaging services.
The team has brought its considerable experience of the sector to medneo to support our ambitious plans to deliver real innovations with service improvements and new ways of working. These innovations can be seen in our London Centre along with our unique mobile units with their patient-centric layout and high-specification scanners.

Chairman
Steve has recently retired from the role of CEO for Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, a position he held since 2015. With over 40 years’ experience working initially within the retail sector and for the past 20 years within the healthcare sector, Steve provides strategic insights into the UK healthcare market and has a proven track record of innovation and commercial success in consumer, commissioned and B2B environments.
Under Steve’s stewardship, Nuffield Health was recognised as an industry leader in quality by national regulators and has received industry accolades winning ‘Best Hospital Group’ at the HealthInvestor Awards and Laing Buisson Awards for three consecutive years. During Steve’s tenure, Nuffield Health doubled in size both in terms of reach and revenue and also in levels of public benefit delivered.
Steve has held a number of executive leadership, commercial and operational positions throughout his career, ensuring the constant achievement of creating value, first with Celesio (McKesson) and then with A.S. Watson (CK Hutchinson).

CEO
Ella leads the medneo UK team and has significant experience in private healthcare, having worked in oncology and fertility. She has a proven track record of driving growth, digital transformation, and improving operations and company culture.
Ella also brings extensive expertise in marketing, commercial excellence and general management.

CFO
Katy brings a wealth of experience in healthcare and business transformation, having most recently worked with Active Care Group, the UK’s leading provider of complex care services. She also brings a strong track record from her time at Aesica Pharmaceuticals, with deep expertise in scaling businesses, investment, M&A, and organic growth.
Katy will be instrumental in guiding medneo through the next stage of development, working closely with our teams across the UK to continue building a business we’re all proud to be part of.

Operations Director
Amanda is responsible for clinical operations – focused on delivering high quality, safe and effective care for our patients, and on supporting our team grow and deliver upon our core objectives and values. Amanda leads design and mobilisation of services and brings an abundance of experience to our team.
As a Diagnostic Radiographer, Amanda quickly progressed through clinical roles (NHS) and International MRI applications (GE). She held organisation-wide leadership roles in governance and education, service development and mobilisation at a large private imaging provider. Before joining medneo, she led pathology and radiology services for a national hospital operator. Amanda has led the successful mobilisation of over fifty MRI and CT services.

Clinical Director
Rachael is responsible for quality, risk and compliance management for medneo UK. She is passionate about patient experience and driving the quality agenda. Rachael is a firm believer in evidence-based quality service provision through accreditation, positive change management, and by managing incidents to best promote learning and awareness.
Rachael has worked at several NHS hospitals across the UK as a Therapeutic Radiographer. Before joining medneo, she held the position of Quality and Development Superintendent (Radiotherapy, Medical Physics and Clinical Research Centre) at The London Clinic. She has extensive experience in clinical leadership, research and leading quality initiatives. Rachael has particular interest in informed consent, on which she regularly presents and publishes in peer-reviewed journals.

Head of HR
Bea is responsible for the whole employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition and people agenda. She is very passionate about delivering the business agenda with the people at the centre of it and to ensure that the business culture is one of inclusivity and support so the staff can deliver the best that they can in the best environment possible.
Bea is a Chartered Member of the CIPD Association. She has worked in the UK and internationally in numerous sectors, focusing lately on healthcare. She has extensive experience implementing people centre initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention and transforming organisations to allow them to grow in a more resilient way. She has won numerous awards in the past for her people practices in the UK and Europe.
